Oliver, I was trying to stay out of this, but I have to agree with Carla on this one. HTML email has no place in a mailing list. You should have the ability to declare the Astlinux user email address as a non-html recipien= t and force lookout to sent plain text emails. Several reasons: 1). The messages look plain ugly/unreadable in the archives. 2). There is no benefit to html email in a mailing list and therefore it causes wasted bandwidth. 3). The security risks. There ARE places for html email. A mailing list is just not one of them. Darrick |
