[Astlinux-devel] Default Asterisk configuration

Hi Devs,

For many years I thought AstLinux should install a basic, functional Asterisk configuration (extensions.conf and sip.conf) possibly with voicemail and a few features.

Whenever I though about this in the past, my head started to hurt and found something else on the TODO list. :-)

Given the maturity of Asterisk 13/16, and most everyone (particularly beginners) will use SIP phones and an internet SIP provider, maybe now is a good time to consider AstLinux installing a default set of configs ?

Should the config use pjsip ?

Possibly something exists on GitHub.

Not sure what our goals should be, start the brainstorming ...
