Bill,

This does not make sense since you should not need to build "make" just use the native make from your build environment.

Did you do something like...

$ cp astlinux-ast13.config .config

This sets up a standard build .config ... with "# BR2_PACKAGE_MAKE is not set"

AstLinux never used Ruby, ever.  So there are no mirrored downloads.
