Hi Michael, The main point with real servers could be, that there might be a lot of drivers missing in AstLinux (especially harddisk controllers and NICs). While there are all drivers needed for virtualization already included within AstLinux. You could easily buy a server, install the Debian-based free Proxmox VE and then install AstLinux in Proxmox without any driver issues. Sent from a mobile device. It should be pretty basic with no significant firewalling required. > Do you thing the Qotom box should be fine? > Should we include a high end server in the Astlinux tested architectures? > > Regards > Michael Knill > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > _______________________________________________ > Astlinux-users mailing list > Ast...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users > > Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pa...@kr.... > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most > engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot > _______________________________________________ > Astlinux-users mailing list > Ast...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/astlinux-users > > Donations to support AstLinux are graciously accepted via PayPal to pa...@kr.... |
