To the best of my knowledge it will not ship till April, at least that
is the case for us. We have a few modules
on hand for testing in the interim.
In addition to having 600mw max output power the receive sensitivity is
also very good, it can be grounded
to prevent ESD damage and it is designed to withstand harsh climate.
Honestly for an AstLinux box this card is
probably way overkill if you just using it as a local Access Point.

Yes it should work with Madwifi-NG out of the box. I have tested it, but
not on the AstLinux distributed drivers. I can do that this week and
report back.
