OK as I played with it a bit more I sorta answered my own question. I can dial an number by doing this in the setChannel( ... ) method: originateChannel.setChannel("ZIP/g0/18005551212"); Now I am trying to figure out how to connect the call to an IVR when they answer the phone ... I am guessing instead of setExten( ... ) I will need setApplication( ... ) so I will try that in the morning.
