I can prepare a patch for asterisk and fill a bug report. And I believe this
is the best solution.

But I'd like to confirm with you if you agree that patching asterisk is the
best solution for this problem.

I'm asking your confirmation because your opinion will endorse me when I'll
talk about this step with my customer.
