Forgive me, can you show an example with asterisk-java using Festival?
My attempts have mostly been along the lines of:

Code: exec("Festival('Hello asterisk user, how are you today?')";=20

and that has not met with success :-(
I have had some success with sound files *on the server* so calls like

Code: data =3D getData("pls-try-again");

do work where pls-try-again is a sound file on the asterisk server.
