OK I solved this problem, but hav another.
running the following gives me a=20
C:\asterisk-java>java -cp asterisk-java-0.2.jar:. =
net.sf.asterisk.fastagi.DefaultAGIServer
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: =
net/sf/asterisk/fastagi/DefaultAGIServer
If I omit the    :.   after .jar I get the following:
C:\asterisk-java>java -cp asterisk-java-0.2.jar =
net.sf.asterisk.fastagi.DefaultAGIServer
