We are providing nightly builds of Asterisk-Java 1.0.0 at
http://maven.reucon.com/public-snapshot/org/asteriskjava/asterisk-java/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/

If you choose to go with 1.0.0 you should always use the latest snapshot.
