 I have been working in asterisk server using java API's.

and I need to know the basic connention of asterisk server like how the call
handled in asterisk server ?????

how the events are occured in asterisk server and how it is estsblished?????

becoz i need to build the API's using another language(erlang).so i need
some of the basic things.
