I am using this lib in a professional way (e.g. callcenter): - dialer systems (in- and outbound, handling thousands of calls per day) - backoffice telephony (e.g. switchboard supporting several locations) - webbased telphony systems - IVRs - FaxServer I really love it... I never got a telephonyproject, I could not build with asterisk + asteriskJava If you need help, ask the list or hire me for professional support. regards, Yves Am 18.08.2015 um 18:04 schrieb Alonso Genis: > Dears, > > I am Alonso, new at this list. Hi, I use it for an on air radio studio system. Code is a bit rough and ready and theres still much to do and no time to do it. https://github.com/waynemerricks/asteriskphone Wayne Merricks The Voice Asia On 18/08/15 21:40, Richard Lavoie wrote: > I'm not very much involved with this library, but I've used it a little in the past with my own install and I know openhab is using it to receive call events so the automation system can react on that. > > Richard Lavoie > >> On 2015-08-18, at 12:04, Alonso Genis <ab...@gm...> wrote: >> >> Dears, >> >> I am Alonso, new at this list. I'm not very much involved with this library, but I've used it a little in the past with my own install and I know openhab is using it to receive call events so the automation system can react on that. Dears, I am Alonso, new at this list. We are studying some API for migrate an application that connects to Asterisk's AMI for events and to process them. We are very interesting in use Asterisk-Java, and i wonder if you know some other developers or projects using it. I search in site, but i don't find this information. We need it just for reference, is not important what projects are or what license they have. Thanks very much for your attention. Alonso. |

You can try to make context "from-internal-custom". Then try to use asterisk java fagi server. I think it is not possible with asterisk-java and better way is create database and asking db for permission. 16 maj 2015 17:39 "Kostas" <kos...@gm...> napisał(a): > Yes, that exactly I mean! Hello, I am new on the asterisk java and generally on the asterisk, I would like to ask if it is possible to to lock and unlock phones through this Java API, to explain what exactly I mean by that, can I do, what the dialplan of Freepbx can do with this API ? I am asking for guidance. Sorry for my English and thanks for your attention. --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com |

Gentlefolk, I'm very pleased to announce that Asterisk Java 1.0 RC1 has just been released and can be downloaded from github at: https://github.com/asterisk-java/asterisk-java/releases Thanks very much to Zoumana Traore for orchestrating the release. RC1 is really just a formalisation of the prior 1.0 M3 so we are not expecting any new bugs to surface. I would encourage you all, to take it out for a spin. Subject to no bug reports against RC1 or any other objections, I'm looking to push the GA version out on the first of June. We are now accepting push request for 1.1 which is intended to support Asterisk versions up to 1.8. The 1.1 release is intended to facilitate the consolidation of any key missing 1.8 features. We are also accepting push request for 2.0. 2.0 is intended to support version up to asterisk 13. So any post 1.8 features need to be pushed into master which will become the 2.0 release. Any questions, thought or suggestions on how to do this better are always welcome. Regards, Brett |

Hello first of all :-) No, from the output nothing more will come up until you trigger a call that your HelloWorld AGI will handle. As an AGI script this is supposed to handle Inbound call (..CallIn) obviously. If you have not a clear view on what you have to do for this, here it is: - 1) in your fastagi-mapping.properties you will have to put something like this helloworld.agi = ExampleCallIn - 2) in the extensions.conf (in /etc/asterisk) of your asterisk server, in the right context (default if you don't know) exten => s,1,Agi(agi://localhost/helloworld.agi - 3) then make a call from a softphone connected to your asterisk with credentials defined in sip.conf (in /etc/asterisk) You will then get your output In stead of just pasting block of code, please say a bit about the problem your are facing and your goal so people can help you (not every body will read all your email to then understand your problem) Regards, Zoumana *---* *Zoumana TRAORE* 2015-04-20 21:52 GMT+02:00 thufir <haw...@gm...>: > First go at this as so: > > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ javac -cp > asterisk-java.jar ExampleCallIn.java > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ java -cp > asterisk-java.jar org.asteriskjava.fastagi.DefaultAgiServer > Apr 20, 2015 12:19:20 PM org.asteriskjava.fastagi.DefaultAgiServer startup > INFO: Listening on *:4573. > ^Cthufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ ls > asterisk-java.jar ExampleCallIn.class ExampleCallIn.java > fastagi-mapping.properties > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ cat ExampleCallIn.java > import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiChannel; > import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiException; > import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiRequest; > import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.BaseAgiScript; > > public class ExampleCallIn extends BaseAgiScript { > > @Override > public void service(AgiRequest request, AgiChannel channel) throws > AgiException { > answer(); > exec("Playback", "tt-monkeys"); > hangup(); > } > } > thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ > > > > but, shouldn't it be doing something more than that when it runs? First go at this as so: thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ javac -cp asterisk-java.jar ExampleCallIn.java thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ java -cp asterisk-java.jar org.asteriskjava.fastagi.DefaultAgiServer Apr 20, 2015 12:19:20 PM org.asteriskjava.fastagi.DefaultAgiServer startup INFO: Listening on *:4573. ^Cthufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ ls asterisk-java.jar ExampleCallIn.class ExampleCallIn.java fastagi-mapping.properties thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ cat ExampleCallIn.java import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiChannel; import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiException; import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.AgiRequest; import org.asteriskjava.fastagi.BaseAgiScript; public class ExampleCallIn extends BaseAgiScript { @Override public void service(AgiRequest request, AgiChannel channel) throws AgiException { answer(); exec("Playback", "tt-monkeys"); hangup(); } } thufir@dur:~/NetBeansProjects/HelloAsterisk/src$ but, shouldn't it be doing something more than that when it runs? I would hope to see output like "playing monkeys" or similar. The git page: https://github.com/srt/asterisk-java doesn't really specify what the output should be. Asterisk log shows: [Apr 20 12:09:30] NOTICE[1189] chan_sip.c: Registration from '<sip:200@192.168.0.19>' failed for '192.168.0.19:52732' - Wrong password [Apr 20 12:14:31] NOTICE[1189] chan_sip.c: Registration from '<sip:200@192.168.0.19>' failed for '192.168.0.19:52732' - Wrong password thufir@dur:~$ so that's a configuration problem? I'm looking for someone to volunteer to improve the online documentation and examples on the github wiki. I'm thinking that we should have a number of examples and links to the java doc online. A strong set of examples for common operations would help potential users come up to speed quickly.. I've cc'd this to the user list as hoping that one of the asterisk java users might put up their hand. Yes I mean you! Don't just sit their and lurk :) Brett |

Hi all Agree that pushing the current state out as 1.0 and adding fixes in 1.x makes sense. Two thoughts on higher Asterisk Versions support: 1) I think it’s ok to have “partial” support for Asterisk 13 in a first step, if the ari stuff looks too ambitious initially. Supporting the new event structure and all that would already be a good step for a 2.x release in my view. ARI support could follow later down the road. 2) we’d have to agree on a strategy for backwards compatibility. E.g. some user events got some major restructuring in Asterisk 12. Applications that expect the old structure of e.g. Dial-, Hold- and Park Events may no longer work correctly if we just adjust to the new structure. The problems I have encountered so far could be overcome by building additional legacy Events from the new Events and sending them out as well, but that obviously does not lead to cleaner code and may actually produce unexpected side effects. Betreff: Re: [Asterisk-java-users] [Asterisk-java-devel] Asterisk-Java 1.0 release et al IMHO, the current git repo is a well known stable base and works for most people out there. I would prefer to say that we should clear out the current warnings for missing properties against at least asterisk 11 and release it as 1.0. This release will the be a great base for integrating all those patches and features. To get a little bit more speed in development we should look in the next step for some crucial missing features who ar simple to integrate without major side effects. For example we have a patch for MessageSend incorporated in Asterisk 10, this one will improve the Asterisk-Java but with less side effects. On the opposite, i have made some changes to overcome the limitation that a user only can have one call waiting. This works for me but could lead to trouble for others because this change is much more deeper hooked in the lib and needs more testing. peter -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Brett Sutton <bs...@no...> Gesendet: Mit 15 April 2015 03:07 An: ast...@li...; ast...@li... I also get the impression that a number of the users of these forks have fixes that they deem critical for their environment. The question then is how many (if any) of these we should wrap up into the 1.0 release. One possible path is lets just do the 1.0 release as the code stands, so that downloaders have some level of confidence when the get the 1.0 release and lets us get it out the door quickly. We could then look at a 1.1 release that takes the bug fixes from these many forks. With either scenario we need to work out how we get the fixes from those forks in to the 1.x release. We can try contacting some of the developers (I've tried with some but not all have email addresses attached) and request them to send us push requests against the 1.x branch or failing that we could start picking off bug fixes from those forks and generate the pull requests ourselves. So opinions on the best path? So vote: Issue 1: Create release 1.0 using existing code with NO fixes, then 1.1 with fixes. Create release 1.0 with fixes. Issue 2: Request developers to make push requests. Marshall the forks and do push requests ourselves. IMHO, the current git repo is a well known stable base and works for most people out there. I would prefer to say that we should clear out the current warnings for missing properties against at least asterisk 11 and release it as 1.0. Gentlefolk, I've just been added by Stefan as a contributor to Asterisk-Java over at GitHub (the official repository for asterisk-java). Noojee is a long time user of Asterisks Java and we are aiming to get the project re-invigorated as Stefan is busy off working on other projects these days. The first objective is to get an official 1.0 release out the door which essentially is just a snap shot of the existing code with a few bug fixes and a few minor enhancements that Noojee has been using for some time. Once we have 1.0 out the door the aim is to work on 2.0 in which we would be looking to support asterisk 11 and 13 as well as merging many of the enhancements which have been worked on in many of the forks of asterisk-java. So we are looking for contributors to help: marshal commits via submitting pull requests for well tested bug fixes to asterisk-java 1.0 creation/marshalling of unit tests for 1.0 creation of docker instances for each of the support version of asterisk 1.0 agreement on what versions of asterisk 1.0 will support (1.4, 1.8,...). general testing of the release candidates we will be pushing out. other things that the community feel are important. setup a better communications framework moving issue tracking to github Can you help? Do you have any suggestions as to what we need to be doing? Brett |

"Dialing outIf the AGI application dials outward by executing Dial, the script will suspend contact with the Asterisk server until the Dial exits." http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+AGI That being said, I don't even know the distinction between the AGI and AMI, and thought they were, effectively, the same. I need to read up on this.
