Hi - I'm running NINA and ASTAP and the 10Micron pointing model. I cannot seem to get the pointing model to plate solve. I can plate solve with the NINA button - but not using the 10Micron pointing model plate solve.
Thanks - I've tried to lengthen the expsosure time - and have used 3, 5, 10, 30, and 60 second exposures. I'll send the log and an image - thanks for the help!!

I just opened the .fits file and I just see snow - there's no image. So strange - I'm able to see images in the image view field and NINA platesolves when I press the button. But the 10u .fits file is snow.

Yes strange. With your field-of-view of 3.9 x 2.6 degrees, even a one second exposure should see a massive amount of stars and solve easily. There is something wrong with your setup. The header indicates IMAGETYP= 'LIGHT'

Right. Here’s the thing - it appears that 10u pointing model or NINA isn’t passing the image to ASTAP correctly. I can plate solve with NINA using the exact same image using the plate solve button.
So the 10u plugin - or NINA isn’t pointing to the correct .fits file or the file is getting corrupted. Any ideas?

I'm personally not using Nina but others do use it with a 10micron mount. Probally best is to ask for help in the Nina Discord discussion group. Or you could use the CCDciel program instead which I could help you much better with.

Is the exposure time enough? Can you share the last image which failed to solve and the Nina log?
Nina saves the images which failed to solve here:
\%localappdata%\NINA\PlateSolver\Failed
If you share the files from this location the problem is easier to analyse. You could attach one image to your next post.

Looks like a dark or bias frame -

Is there a way to build a 10u pointing model outside of NINA? I can then see if it's an issue with the 10u plugin.
