No

If I select lights from my Dwarf 3, the temperature column is empty (the correct temperature is at the end of the file names e.g. "Barnard 144_120s60_Astro_20250620-222436912_35C.fits" was 35C temperature. If I select darks, dark flats, or flats, the temperature is set to 999C.

Please can this be looked into? This is the only thing I have found wrong with this software!

To trace the cause I need one sample of your fits images.

Here is the light file, it should be 35C.

This is one of my darks, it should be 24C. Sorry it takes ages to upload they're huge!

Thanks. The DWARF3 software is using a non-standard keyword DET-TEMP for temperature in the header. Everybody else is using the CCD-TEMP keyword.

I will have look the next days if I put this keyword in. I'm not so happy doing that because it is nowhere else used.

For stacking it will be not a problem if you keep the check mark classify by "dark temperature" unchecked.

Thanks! It would just be useful for me to be able to use the correct temperature darks for the lights of the same temperature, but no worries if you can't get it to work.

You can always update the keywords manually. Select all files to update, call up the popup menu and select "Change keyword in selected files". Type for keyword CCD-TEMP and the desired value. You can do that for lights, darks, flat-darks.

I tried doing that changing CCD-TEMP to DET-TEMP and it shows the temperatures as 0 instead of an empty column.

During the modify keyword you have to enter the new value. It doesn't use the old value.

I will create a special version which read DET-TEMP instead CCD-TEMP. That is easier for testing.

Use the executable out of this zip file.

Unzip it somewhere and then move/copy it to c:\program files\astap
    http://www.hnsky.org/astap.zip

This version will read 'DET-TEMP' keyword

Hi thanks for that zip. Unfortunately I am on Linux and even through wine, the stack button does not open the stack window. Could the apt package be made for this change?

I will try to implement in next version to preserve the keyword value. So you can change the keyword but do not have to enter the new value.

It should be a rename keyword function. So rename DET-TEMP to CCD-TEMP
