ASTAP locks up when opening image inspection

I have an issue that only happens on my laptop but not on my desktop. After I load a fits file when I open image inspection (F5), the program locks up as though there is an open window somewhere, but there isn't. No other window when I alt tab, but I keep getting the error beep no matter where I click on on the program. I tried downloading on my desktop and copying to the laptop in case virus protection was corrupting the download. I also tried turning virus protection off. Any ideas? Thanks.

That is weird. I have had a look whats happening when the inspection (F5) opens but nothing special. Can you try to set setting in ASTAP to default? In the laptop, select in ASTAP:
File
Settings
Return to default settings and exit.
If that doesn't help, probably the only thing left is to run the program in the debugger.

Looks like that fixed it (so far), thanks! Strange, not sure what got changed, but now I know how to fix it.
