Yes see. It happens if the view is flipped. If you uncheck the View under main menu View it should be correct. So if the the image is saved, north will be up.
If it is flipped (indicated with a F at the north arrow), east will be on the right side.

Yes I see that. But whatever I set the flip vertical or horizontal to it always shows an F. So I can't see which is flipped - or not. And when I know the image is correct it also still shows an F. Can the View menu show which are selected?

Flipped means e.g north is up and east is on the right for the data in the file. It is important for the astrometic solution to know.
For a flipped image, if north is up, you only have to flip horizontal to get the image "correctly". Flipping is caused by your telescope. The image is then upside down or left and right are swapped. Not both because that is like a rotation.
