I'm a newcomer to ASTAP and having trouble downloading . Both the astap program and the D50 database download under the documents tab. Is this correct?
When I try to save the downloads both give a message saying that the program isn't commonly downloaded and to make sure that I trust it before opening. I don't get any option to open either of them.
I'm using win64 with Windows 10 and have Defender turned off.

Download storage place is set by your browser, but it doesn't matter where you place downloads.
For downloading you have to accept two or three times your downloading from an unknown source. I'm developing free software but I'm do not going paying a yearly fee to Microsoft and go through their vetting process. This is the case with many tools.
Note tht the ASTAP software is scanned in Sourceforge for virusses. You can install it with Defender ON. That should be no problem and safer.

Thanks Han.
I have now downloaded the program and database successfully. I think that I may have had a laptop glitch yesterday.
