Han if i have two data sets of a target one OSC and one Duoband how can i get astap to stack so it uses the same reference file for aligning and calibrating .

The reference file is selected automatically and is the best quality file. Forcing to use a specific reference file is not possible. The two type of files will also have a different scale so you could only mix them if you use astrometric alignment. Star alignment will fail. Mixing OSC and colour filter files is not foreseen. Maybe if you calibrate the OSC images first and convert them to colour it will work. I have never tried it. Tell me what you want to do in detail and share the images and I will have a look.

In startools you can have a osc data set and using the compose mode add narrow band data using the nbaccent feature , obviously both data sets need to be aligned the same for this to work .
