Mac Studio Ultra, macOS Monterey 12.3, tried to install ASTAP vv2022.04.05 for Mac with M1 processor. Icon in Applications folder has circle with line through it and error message "You can’t open the application “ASTAP.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac." appears when trying to launch. Followed instructions for installation found in code signing. Never got far enough to sign.
Willing to help getting this working on Mac Studio.

Testing the Mac version is here very limited possible. I have only a Mac virtual machine for the X86 processor. Can you try first the X86 version. If that works try one of the older M1 versions from here:
I tried the older M1 version and it works! I just started it from the Applications folder and did not need to sign it - although I had tried to sign the first one so maybe that is valid for this version.
It is way faster than the Intel version running under Rosetta. I have the linux version running on a high end workstation and I think it is faster on the Mac Studio.
I will let you know if I run into issues. Thanks for this great program. I have been using it for stacking while taking data and for reducing tilt using the Gerd Neumann Camera Tilt Unit. Your three point tilt diagram is a god send!

Hello Robert,
Testing the Mac version is here very limited possible. I have only a Mac virtual machine for the X86 processor. Can you try first the X86 version. If that works try one of the older M1 versions from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/astap-program/files/macOS%20installer/older/
If the older version doesn't work either it must be something with code signing else I released a bad version and have to recompile it.

Han,
Thanks for the ultra fast response!

Bob,
I have refreshed the M1 version. I expect it should work now. Can you retry?
Han
Han,
The newly posted M1 version works! Thank you for all your efforts!
