Hello. I just received a very new camera. ASTAP or whatever is its raw compiler seams to not like these new files. It says No FITS! when I try to analzye them. Is this just becase the lib raw database just needs to be updated?

    Hi,

I tried the latest Libraw program and got this message:

    Processing file 1.orf
    Image size: 5220x3912
    Raw size: 5220x3912
    Margins: top=0, left=0
    1.orf: Unexpected end of file
    Cannot unpack 1.orf: Input/output error

dcraw showed visually something simular, "1/3 of an image" Are all files like this or just this one? The current file is 16.3 MB (17,167,798 bytes)

    Han

It does this for all files. I think it is becase of dcraw may not know how to unpack this one yet. This is for a camear that came out only a month ago. does dcraw have a forum or development cycle?

The development of DCRAW has stopped, but LibRaw is active. Best is to drop the file at the LibRaw developer forum/site.

Can you describe the camera make model in full detail? Then I will drop the file at the LibRaw forum or report at GitHub the issue. Site forum:

    https://www.libraw.org/

Then we have to wait some weeks. No idea how fast this will be picked up. After fixing this in LibRaw, I have import the changes and compile my version of the conversion program
