Why am I getting this error message?

When using my wide lens with NINA, I keep getting this error message. I have library V17 installed. How can I prevent this from happening? Thank you!
The database selection in ASTAP is probably not on auto and fixed on the D50 or an other database.
Start the ASTAP program, press CLTR+A to open the stack menu. Go to tab alignment and select for star database selection auto. See attached screenshot.
You could check the setting by loading an image in the ASTAP viewer and try to solve it.
Leave the program by the pull down menu File, Exit (and save settings). This will save the auto selection mode

Thank you for responding. The selection was on "auto". Could there be anything else to change/check?

Looking to your screenshot, the image height is only 1.57 degrees. Can you confirm this?
You have also the H17, H18. The V17 is only recommended for image with a height of more then 7 or 8 degrees. So the warning should not come.
All your database are now obsolete. V17 is replaced by V50 and H17, H18 by the D50 and D80.
I will fix the warning in the program. Which version of ASTAP are you now using? It is also better to upgrade both the databases and program.

I can't see a problem in the code at this moment. Can you provide the ASTAP version and image height in degrees (or an image) ?

The height is 6.94 degrees. Just on the boundary of using V17 or H17/18.
You ASTAP version is old. The error message is no longer shown in a newer ASTAP version. I would suggest to install a new ASTAP and the D50 and G05 databases. Installing the latest ASTAP will work but it will give a new warning "Database old!" since you still have the H17, H18 and V17 which are also obsolete.
So I would suggest to do the following:
Go to Windows settings and section remove program:
a) Uninstall H17
b) Uninstall H18
c) Uninstall V17
Uninstall of ASTAP is not required.
(The brute method is to delete the directory c:\program files\astap )
Then
1) Install latest ASTAP version
2) Install D50 database
3) Install G05 database (for your wide field images)

What is the focal length range of D50?
The D50 range is related to the field-of-view. It will do fine down to about 0.2 degrees or 12 arcmin field-of-view . You could also install the D80. The only drawback of the D80 is the larger size of about one gigabyte. See this selection diagram:
