I have been using ASTAP to plate solve in NINA and have been highly impressed with it. Recently, I saw Han K's video about using ASTAP to help find Pluto (https://youtu.be/7cheLI-3ggQ). I thought this would be a fun project and help me to learn more about this great program. One of the features in the video that I wanted to try was "Filter out stars based on first image" which is well demonstrated in the video. For some reason, the "Filter out stars based on first image" checkbox does not appear in the blink tab on my computer. I am using a very recent version (2022.07.13) of ASTAP. Has that function been dropped? Is there a setting that I can change to make that function reappear?
Thanks.

Yes that filter has been abandonend. It is replaced by the function "unknown star annotation" in pull down menu Tools. This will annotate Nova, Pluto dwon to magnitude 17 if your using the H18 database.
It is already some time ago, but the main reason was that it requires two images and the tool "unknown star annotation" doesn't.
Cheers, Han
