    Hi Han
I'm getting an error trying to use the "Stack selected files in groups, mode average"
on the Photometry tab. Here's the sequence of events:

    • Add OSC images to Photometry tab
    • Calibrate selected files
    • Extract green channel of selected raw files
      this all works fine
    • Stack selected files in groups, mode average
Error: " Abort !! For photometry you can not stack OSC images. First extract the green channel."

The green channel has clearly been extracted so not sure why there is an error. Even clearing the tab and adding the TG files back in does not solve it.
    Thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

That is weird. I tested it here and it works with my files.

Can you share one or more TG files you try to stack in groups? So I can reproduce the problem here.

There is also a sub folder with 4 calibrated TG files in it that won't stack

I can get it to work with mono files (with a V filter) OK

    Hi Mark,

I tried your files. Converting to TG worked. Stacking in groups of 2 worked. So I can't explain it at the moment. There is always a possibility that there is a variable free floating but can you first try to use the latest ASTAP version v2024.08.29?

The four files in the sub folder stack easy. Can you check your alignment settings. See screenshot. Or go to default via viewer menu, FILE, SETTINGS, RETURN TO DEFAULT SETTINGS ?

Yes going back to default settings has worked. Alignment settings were the same as yours. So something else in my settings must have confiused it.
    Thanks for your help.
    Mark
