I am trying to plate solve the attached image with ASTAP. ASTAP is reporting that it is failing to find any stars in the image. Can somebody tell me why ASTAP is not detecting any stars?
There are too many hot pixels. Just try F4 to see that. You have to filter them out. If you move the mouse pointer to a real star, you see in the status bar the HFD is 5 or 6. Set "Ignore stars less then" at 3, 3.5 or 4 then it solves. See attachment.

I think your SNR is too low. Make some dark frames (The sky count is about 25000 ADU's), calibrate the image and try again with the calibrated image.

Set also downsample at 0. Ignore stars at 3.5
