Getting Started with Indigo and astap

I'm trying to get started with indigo and have installed the OS (Indigo Sky) on a Raspberry Pi 5, which I'm controlling with a Mac laptop running Indigo A1. To use astap with that system, should I install astap on the Raspbery Pi or on the Mac? I'm guessing that I should try to put astap on the Raspberry Pi, but am not sure how to do that. Any suggestions appreciated!

Most likely on the Raspberry Pi as a headless system but I don't know how Indigo is setup these days.
in the past I created a custom ASTAP version and I'm not sure if they are still using it or if they can now use the standard ASTAP version. Ask the Indigo support.
Or use instead CCDCiel and INDI. Then you can use the standard ASTAP installers at the same location where CCDCiel is installed.
