Most of my data is aquired over multiple nights due to using a 2600MM mono camera with both broadband and narrowband filters with my 8" and 10" carbon fibre Newtonian reflectors

Which procedure will hypothetically produce a cleaner stacked file with less noise ( assuming quality of data is ok )

1/ Load all lights ( common filter ) from multiple nights ( night 1,2 and 3 ) with calibration frames and stack using Sigma improved then save fts
    or
2/ Load night 1 ( common filter ) with calibration frames and stack using Sigma improved then save fts
Load night 2 ( common filter ) with calibration frames and stack using Sigma improved then save fts
Load night 3 ( common filter ) with calibration frames and stack using Sigma improved then save fts
Load stacked fts night 1,2 and 3 and Stack using either Average or Sigma improved , then save fts

I welcome your expertise and advice on the above scenarios
    Also any further suggestions

    Thankyou
    Martin

Captured 8 hrs of SHO data on a nebula last week with my 8" Newt
Stacked the data set using both methods as stated above
Results were similar and could not see any discernible difference with stacked image and post processed image
    Answered my own question
