I can see you have the latest files variable_stars_13.csv and variable_stars_15.csv but the variable_stars.csv is from 2023 and variable_stars_8.csv is maybe not there.
You can select the variabe star file in tab photometry. I assume if you select down to magnitude 13 or 15 it will work. But not for down to to 8 or 11. Did you install ASTAP with the installer? This should give you the 2025 variable_stars.csv (mag 11) and variable_stars_8.csv. All four files should be there.

Thanks Han
I actually always download the ASTAP executable-only zip file.
Now I downloaded and installed the ASTAP_installer_(v2025.10.31)
And everything works great !
Thank you so much
