Pretty new to ASTAP. I see that the current CBLACK and CWHITE are saved in the FITS HEADER when the FITS file is saved. I wonder if there is a command or something that loads them back to the histogram slider when a FITS file is loaded. As the moment it seems to keep the CBLACK and CWHITE that was used in the last edited file - of course its easy to type in again but would be nice if it were more automatic. Thanks

At the moment they are only written but not read. The minimum and maximum sliders settings are stored in the ASTAP configuration file.
At the moment CBLACK and CWHITE are a little forgotten. The only purpose at the moment is that the users can see what the slider settings where when saved.
Maybe an restore option in the combox (low low+, median, median+, high....) could be added but I doubt this could be useful/practical.

A restore option would be great. I tend to hop around between images - particularly when I master (we somewhat master) new settings that can improve the image.....
Thanks - fingers crossed :)
