Thanks for the quick fix. It Works for me, although I didn’t expect to take so long time. Seems very computing intensive.
I did the following procedure:
1.- Lights tab: browse the four panels for the mosaic. No darks, No flats. Analize and organize images.
2.- Stack method tab: image stitching mode.
3.-Alignment tab: select star alignment.
4.- execute button "STACK(image stitching mode)"
While seems the computer hangs up, I can see the progress in % on the ASTAP button on the task bar.
It took 589s to finish the job. It was 2x2 mosaic.
Now I have others of 4x4, to test 😉 it could take a while…
I keep you informed.
Jordi

Making it faster, I don't have a solution for that at the moment except maybe binning. The 4x4 mosaic will be interesting. Would likely take 4 times longer then the 10 minutes as for the 2x2 mosaic, If you can share the 4x4 images it would be useful for me for testing.
I have released a new development version 2024-01-7 which allows mosaic batch processing of multiple objects. For you images it will not work out of the box since the objects info is marked as M31 panel1, M31 panel2...... If you make them all the same like "M31" with the popup menu "change keyword"...." of the light tab it will work but usage will be rare. Something you could run when your a long time away from the computer.
Yes, of course Han,
I can share more mosaics.
Yesterday it was unusually windy and I decided to make some mosaic pointing practices with NINA.
here I'm sending 4x4 for M31 and 2x2 for M45 and M42. https://we.tl/t-sIZokkVvO1
please note that I have not checked them yet!
I hope it is useful for you.
Cheers,
Jordi

Thanks. That works. See below. Only it would require calibration, so dark, flats and flat-darks for a better result. I have to work on the speed. It required 90 minutes to process.
Hello Han,
I have tried several ASTAP versions recently and I have problems creating a mosaic with stich function.
I leave you some mosaic samples.

thanks for checking.

Hi Jordi,
Yes something fails. I will investigate.
Han
Fixed in development version for windows. Download:

I tested it on your M31 images. Processing take some time, 5 to 10 minutes. Tell me if this works for you.
