When I use Tilt with Triangle at 60 degrees the bottom Tilt number does not show on the screen.
I have tried different Zoom levels and also tried making the ASTAP image window larger and full screen for ASTAP. None of these ended up showing the bottom number.

Is there a solution for this?

I have attached an image showing the problem.

    Hi Jack,

Yes I see it. Yo can fix it/ I have to adapt the program. Maybe it is the length/width ratio of your image. I will fix it next version in the next days.

p.s I will remove your email address from your posting. Better to avoid it is picked up by spam robots.

Modified in the Windows development version. Can you test?

    Download:

It works on some files but not others.
I have attached three files showing the results.

Thanks for testing. The problem is that the triangle is within in but the text is plotted below. I will make an other modification.

I like to keep the triangle as large as possible since I expect you observe the screen at some distance from the telescope position.

    Work to do.

I did not see a difference with is development version from the previous development version.

I have attached the image. (The file used is the same as the file used for ASTAP ver2024.08.17 3.jpg that I sent as part of a group of images yesterday.

Why not just put the Large numbers inside the apex of the triangle similar to the situation with 2.62 in the upper left triangle corner of the image I downloaded.
The numbers are large enough that the triangle lines are not that distracting.

If that did not work you could put it slightly to the outside of the triangle near the apex and vertically slightly toward the direction of the center of the screen.

That is weird. I checked again and it works here.

Before trying something else,I changed the version to 2024.08.19, recompiled and uploaded it again. Can you try this version. First check the ASTAP version number:

    http://www.hnsky.org/astap_setup.exe

I that doesn't work, can you attach the original test image as jpeg and your astap.cfg file. The astap.cfg file is at
    %LocalAppData%\astap

The last ASTAP development version seem to make it worse(ASTAP version 2024.08.19 64bit)
I have attached the astap.cfg file, a jpeg version of the original test image and a screenshot of the latest results.

My mistake. I left an experiment in the code.
Noted that you have something like a 4k monitor. That makes the font automatic bigger. I'm running only 1920x1080 monitor.
The font size seems almost doubled as specified. So when I plot a font with the size of 140 then the actual size is almost double. No problem, I can request the actual size from the canvas.

Moving the font inside the octagon look better for for the triangle not. See attached.

When I click on the link I get ASTAP v2024.8.19 not v2024.8.20.

Also when I try a development download although it says v2024.8.20 the downloaded version is 2024.8.19.
