I know Deep Sky Stacker has calibration flow charts for correct stacking in the user guide therefore it would be good to have similar flow charts in ASTAP to demonstrate the correct procedures on calibration and stacking with ASTAP ( in lieu of the basic written criteria )
Unlike DSS , ASTAP has a lot of calibration functions running in the background which the user does not see until the image is stacked and eventually aligned ready for processing.
Anyway just a request if time permits
