ASTAP locks up when I hit F5 or select "Image Inspector" from the menu

I have ASTAP installed on two computers. My laptop and my minipc - the latter I use to control my rig outside. Everything has worked great but suddenly I can no longer use the image inspector functionality on my miniPC instance of ASTAP. I have uninstalled and re-installed with both the latest beta release and the latest stable release. The result is the same: I load a fits image using the menu, it loads properly on the screen, then when I go into the menu to select image inspector or hit f5, the whole program locks up and won't respond to key presses or clicks. The modal window that should pop-up for image inspector never pops up.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? It works ok on my laptop and used to work fine on the minipc. Both are Windows 11.

That is weird. Try to reset the settings as shown in attached screenshot. But save the settings first to e.g. your desktop for further investigation. If the reset works attach the saved astap.cfg configuration files to a post so I can have a look

Thank you for the reply, that actually fixed it! I have attached the config file I saved before resetting the settings. Please let me know if I configured something improperly that lead to this. Thanks again!

    Hi Jeff,

I looked to your .cfg file. I can't find a problem. If it happens again can you send the cfg file again? At the moment I have no other solution then to wait till it happens again.

    Cheers, Han
