    Having used ASTAP on my Windows 10 laptop with a second monitor, I now can't reset the program to use a single laptop screen again. I have tried the Cascade Windows command but it seems that ASTAP doesn't respond to the command.

    Is there anything I can do (apart from reconnect to the second monitor) to reset the application to the laptop desktop?

    Thanks

    Delete the astap.cfg by:

    Copy this path to explorer:

    %LocalAppData%\astap

    delete then astap.cfg

    or in CMD box paste:

    del %LocalAppData%\astap\astap.cfg

    Thank you.

    Sorry about the wrong title. I do also have a query about solving wide angle photos too, but that can wait for another day.

    I kind of changed your advice slightly, opening astap.cfg and changing the first five lines to:

    [main]
    window_left=0
    window_top=0
    window_height=1000
    window_width=1900

    That way I keep all the other settings. But knowing where the working config file is is a great help. It's all working again now.

    Thanks again.

    I also have this problem swapping screen configurations. It would be nice if you could add an option somewhere to reset the window positions to default. For me this would have to be on the tabbed window as this is the one that is always visible, it is the view window that goes missing.

    Hello Phil,

    There is a menu "Center lost windows" for that under View . Shortcut CTRL+F12. Does that work for you?
