    Hello Grimstod,

Is the red filter correct specified Red or H ? You should see a red filter marker in the tab lights simular as the green and blue markers. Can you send a screenshot of the analysed tab lights?

OK I think I figured it out. Stupdi me. I had my O and S filters reversed in my filter wheel. No here is a good quesion. Tonight I will take my O subs. How do I tell ASTAP to distinguis between them? Since both will have O written in there Fits metadata.

Select all files with the wrong filter name in the file header. Ccall up the popup-menu with the right mouse button. Select menu "change keyword in selected filtes". Type FILTER, type the new filter name.

This will change the value of keyword FILTER in all selected files.

Thank you Han. Will that permanently change them? It would be great if it did as then I could fix a months worth of images that are incoreclty labled.

    Image looks good.

Yes this header keyword change is permanent. So you have to be a little carefull applying it.

One remark, it will update the file dates. That is done by Mac operating system because the file is modified. I assume Mac file system has two files dates, one for the creation and one for last modification. I haven't checked if the original creation date is untouched. I will check that. Depends a little how ASTAP handles the files and how I have written the routine.

The time of the exposure will stay untouched in the header.

When a header keyword is changed, the file "time of creation" is not effected in Windows. I assume the same will happen in the Mac

Very nice result! I noticed the stars in the SHO version have some more colour. I assume it is very difficult to get a neutral star colour with these filters.

Thanks Han. Yes that is why a lot of guys turn to Starnet++ to subtract the stars then layer in an RGB layer of them so they can have the SHO with RGB stars that look natrual.
