Hi han i have two batches of files to create a mosaic 2 pane ,i loaded first batch of files but in the result field after analyzing and start stacking it fails result field not enough quad matches <3 or inconsistent soloution skipping this error , but if i choose file and go to alignment it will solve with 143 quads found , any idea how to over come this .
regards Dave
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Check the refence image marked with a crown. Maybe it is an image with only star streaks resulting in a low HFD and only a few stars detected. An other possibility is that the reference image is from an other sky location. Check RA, DEC position in the list or compare if the star pattern matches visually with the other images.
Just reminds me that I maybe have to change it from lowest HFD to best quality (Based on HFD and number of stars)
If you can't fix it zip the images and provide me with a test set so I can have a look. E.g. upload to https://ufile.io/ and give me the link.

found the culprit han the master bias / flat was issue now shooting fresh calibration files .
Good. Yes a wrong dark with a too high background value can spoil the star detection.
The reference image is the already the image with the best quality (=stars detected/HFD)
yes i tried stacking just lights and that worked , process of elimination , thanks Han .
