I just downloaded the program and tried to load in FITS files. The normal windows way of selecting
all the files does not work. For a sanity check, I went back to DSS and the windows way of selecting the first file then shift-click the last file works.
How do I open a bunch of files from the list?
    ;-)

    Hi Glen,

The viewer handles only one file. Not multiple files windows.

Multiple files can be selected in the stack menu (ctrl+A). The idea is to fill each tab with the correct files. There you can with explorer (click on browse) multi-select files with ctrl+A or holding shift and arrow keys add to the list.

There is a tab for lights, dark, flats and flat-darks. Results are listed tab Results.

Stack method can be set in tabs "Stack method"and tab "Alignment"

    Hi Glen,

Which ASTAP window are you trying to select files from?

If it's the main window (File > Load FITS or other format), then you can only select 1 file at a time, as that's all it processes.

If it's from the "Stack" window, then using the "Browse" button allows the normal multi-file selection options. You can also select files in a Windows Explorer window and "drag and drop" files on to the "Stack" window.

    Cheers, Jim.

Yes drag drop is probably most handy. :)

If your files are type marked correctly, then you could dump all files in tab lights. They will be moved to other tabs automatically later.
