Hi!

I'm running version 0.9.559 on ubuntu 20.10, and experiencing a lot of
crashes of ASTAP. Starting from a terminal only gives me the output that
the program closes (SIGABRT). Anything I can try?

Hello Magnus,

If your using it for stacking, maybe it is good the delete or better to rename the settings file. It is located in your home folder under .config/astap/astap.cfg If you rename it you could load it later. You can also delete it.

If that doesn't help try the ASTAP version 0.9.560.

If still no success can you explain in more detail what's happening?

I'm running 20.04, no problems up to now.

This should be fixed in version 0.9.560. Was also reported by an other user:
