How to use the "Transformation" option?

First of all, thank you so much Han for your great work.

A first beginner's question:
How to use the "Transformation" option? Is it possible to use it with "TG filter" (DSLR) or is it only if a V filter is being used?
In any case, would this be the route or path to follow?
When I click the option, it returns the following data in the text window:

By clicking on the AAVSO report, I understand that the "slope" data would go in its own field, in this case 0.193. The field above this, if left at "0" returns the data without transforming:

What would be the data to enter here, that of the "Check" star?
If so, the data would be modified in this way, (only the magnitude of the "Var"=8.806):

The magnitude without transformation is this (8.709):

It seems so simple to me that I can't believe this is the way to proceed.
