Procedure for old database removal?

I see that there are new databases available. The website says to remove the old ones. What is the procedure to do so we avoid conflicts or issues when in the field?

The H17, H18 database you should be able to uninstall in Windows. See Windows settings, add or remove program. Alternatively you could delete all h17. and all h18. files in c:\program\files\astap

There is a new version of the V50, you can just install without removal of the old V50

If you have an other operating system, tell me which.
