Hi, I am trying to use astap with sharpcap. When I click "Test Selected Plate Solver" I get the error:

Plate solve failed - something went wrong. Error was: An item with the same key has already been added

Any ideas on what's going wrong?

Hello Will,

The error is unknown to me. I suppose it is generated by SharpCap. Maybe it doesn't matter if the solving works without testing. If you can't fix it ask for help at the SharpCap forum.

If anyone else is encountering this problem I fixed it by downgrading astap to version v2023-08-25 available here for windows:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/astap-program/files/windows_installer/older%20versions/astap_setup%20v2023-08-25.exe/download

The solving part of this older version is the same as the latest version. So I can't explain it. Maybe the newer version was damaged. Try in future the newer version again and tell me if the problem reoccurs or is still gone,
