Install question for m2 mac

I successfully installed ASTAP first, then installed the D80 database. Then followed the directions for signing in the link by opening terminal and typing: codesign --force -s - /Applications/ASTAP.app/Contents/MacOS/astap
I'm not sure if this response means I am good to go or not:
    /Applications/ASTAP.app/Contents/MacOS/astap: replacing existing signature
/Applications/ASTAP.app/Contents/MacOS/astap: code object is not signed at all
    In subcomponent: /Applications/ASTAP.app/Contents/MacOS/fpack
    gatehealing@Jons-Mac-Studio ~ %

Is this successful? I'm not terribly tech savvy so need a little help getting this dialed in. Thanks y'all,
    Jon

    Hi Jonathan,

As long ASTAP is running then it is fine. The second line about the small utility program Fpack utility is not important unless you want to read compressed FITS files which are very rare.
What happens if you try to start the application? Does it run?

I do nott own a MAC with a M1 or M2 processor so I can't test it here in a M2 system. I only have a MAC with a Intel processor.

    Cheers, Han

If it's run, can you check if it load raw files from a DSLR camera? The reason is that it uses an other utility program unprocessed_raw to convert them to FITS. If you don't have raw image files, I can share one.

    Han
