    Hi!

Just to understand the interface: what does "mount position" mean, and how are the circle and arrows in the attached image related to this? I was aiming the scope at the faint star where the arrows cross....

The mount position is the position on the mount terminal or what the mount is indicating. The image solution is where the telescope is looking to. They will be always differences. Only after syncing the mount they will be equal.

So if the circle is in the middle the mount indication is equal to the image solution.

So the arrows is where the mount aimed at, and the circle the center of the image? I do get that the mount is always a bit off, just trying to understand what I am looking at.

Btw, there seems to be no available linux installer (my ASTAP freezes when I try to do photometry for the moment, was trying to upgrade).

The green spot is the center of the image and the position of the solution. You mount indication is a tiny amount off.

The red arrow is a north & east indicator. The long end is pointing to the north.

Very strange somehow all the executables are gone..... Will return them.

With FTP manager I can see the files are still there. Also for HNSKY same condition. I think SourceForge has a problem. Download the Debian version from here:
