I am getting the warning "Warning flat pixels differ too much ..." using LED panel for creating my flats. Looking through here I was reminded to use "Normalise OSC Flat" but that seems to have gone. I am using version 2023-07-05.
In the new version the normalising is always done. The warning indicates that one channnel probably red sensisitive is only 50% exposed up to about 11600 compared of the other channels green and blue (25000). It doesn't really matter if the are all reasonable exposed. Theoretical you will have a tiny amount of more flat noise in that channel but that can be compensated by more flats.
So nothing to worry about. No actions are required.
Hi Han,
I am getting the warning "Warning flat pixels differ too much ..." using LED panel for creating my flats. Looking through here I was reminded to use "Normalise OSC Flat" but that seems to have gone. I am using version 2023-07-05.
I have attached a sample flat file.
What should I do about the warning message?
Regards,
Phil
