It uses postfixs' sendmail program to enter the email into the system. I can replace that aspect of it by using something like msmtp, a simple program that passes everything via SMTP to a "smart host" or say to ASSP, but even in that case the email gets rejected, so I pulled that setup out and went back to having at least incoming email working. My outgoing email also works, just that I can't "send" to assp-spam or any of the other addresses in the email interface. When I have msmtp setup, it is configured to talk to ASSP. ASSP then rejects the email because it thinks I'm trying to spoof my own domain, at least that is what it seems like to me. This gets me to wonder if I've got my ASSP settings in regards to Local Domains and "Accept All Mail" correct: localDomains:=virtual-1.domain.tld|virtual-2.domain.tld|virtual-3.domain.tld acceptAllMail:=192.168.70.|127.0.0.1 Should I need to add the IP of my external network interface ? Or maybe the domain that the external interface IP address belongs to ? I'm pretty sure I've tried it and it didn't work. cheers, mehul -- Mehul N. Sanghvi email: meh...@gm... |
