+Scala Commons is a general-purpose utility library for the (outstanding)
+[Scala] programming language.  Here are some things it covers:

+- control: `using` for `Closeable`; `time` for wall-clocks; ...
+- data: collections, trees, strings, general utilities, ...
+- debug: hierarchical logging, stack traces, ...
+- io: files, paths, streams, processes, ...
+- numbers: simple statistics
+- English: converting plurals to singulars, word phrase search, tokenization,
+  ...
+- misc stuff that I'm not sure how to classify (I dislike taxonomies)
+- wrappers for: [Sun HTTP Server], [JavaBib], [JScrape], [gnuplot], ...
