AssoCIateD is a GPL PHP CMS that had firstly been thinked for associations. It came from the http://www.acabe.net website and grew with users' requirements and wishes.

Some security fixes have been done on AssoCIateD as expected. remote file includes shouldn't be possible by now.
The 1.2.0 release added today updates this problem, and adds a sorting feature on medias galleries.
I'm sorry for those who might have encountered security problems.

Some security issues were found in the current release. As you may have seen, the demo site is unavailable, as other sites from my personnal web space.
This issues is due to the register_globals option of the web server.
If you can, turn it off, while I'm working on a security patch to avoid hackers to make your site unavailable.
Sorry for that, but I'm alone :o)
Hoping I'll find a quick way to fix these...

Here's the new release of AssoCIated. You'll find in this release two major changes :
- Menu has been cached to enhance performance of display
- Icons can be set on menu items (list of items if cached and used within menu administration)
- A parameter has been added to configuration to avoid repetitive events which next occurence is too far from taday's date to be displayed on home page.

I obviously included patches from v1.1.2 to avoid people downloading the version to be forced to download the patches to get the stuff working well...... read more

I'm currently testing this new version (v1.1.2) as you may see, there are some interesting adds :

* ACID is now fully PHP 4 compatible without needing the XSL extension (easier to install on many providers)
* Keywords are taken into account for tagging medias
* You can now massively update your medias by using the top form 'Mass update' : add or remove keywords, change titles, dates and authors in one click !
* An RSS feed generator is also available : you can choose which types of elements you want to put in a custom RSS feed.
* Little changes to make your navigation easier : ]... read more

I'm done with switching to full PHP 4 without xsl implementation. I also added the mass tagging function for medias (keywords are now available).
Next release is to come soon with some more functions and tests to avoid heavy upgrade.

First of all, I apologize for delivering v1.1.0 with so much stupid mistakes. I wanted to go too fast.
All of these bugs are listed in the Patches tracker, you may find informations about correcting them. If you want to know a bit more, don't hesitate to contact me directly.
So, for the v1.1.1, apart from several the bug fixes, I'm adding possibilities of theme switching, site access restriction for maintenance with customizable message and 2 brad new themes for those want to have an rapid alternative to the default one.

I'm presently working on the 1.1 release, where lots of changes are being made. I'd suggest you to wait a bit (juste a few days, at most 2 weeks) before downloading a release, because of the necessity of patching it briefly after installation.
