VAV (VisualStudio Assembly Versionner) / News: Recent posts

After working hard on my first add-in, I just understood (learned) the reason (in fact the reasons) why there is no auto-increment versionning on VS 2005:
1) auto-versionning could break link to assemblies
2) there is a way to automatically update (I choose my words!) the version numbers:
-> put on your assembly version: Major.minor.*
If you do that, your build number will "be equal to the number of days since January 1, 2000, local time, and revision [...] to the number of seconds since midnight, January 1, 2000, local time, divided by 2."
