Vikas, Excellent. I was having the same problems as well when I was writing an ad hoc routing daemon with the ASL. If you track down the problem in route_check.o and need someone to test it with different kernel versions, I'd be happy to. Just let me know, but wait till after finals. :) BTW, I don't know if I posted this to the list, but arand is a routing daemon utilizing ASL.
