I wasn't even aware there were makefile targets for dvi and pdf,
until you said! :) These seem to be boilerplate targets
generated by automake.

You can edit the .dox files in the src/doc directory to enable
generation of RTF or LaTeX documentation using doxygen. Beware,
as it will create *very* large documents (hundreds of pages).
