HI JPM,
I have few queries related to ASEMON intallations and resource utilisation.
Is it recommended to install both ASEMON Logger and Report on same VM ?
How much addtional resources will be required for each process ?
Is it suggestable to run Logger on production server ?
Looking forward for any recommendation guideline or standard practice appraoch.
-Thanks

Hi Hardeep,
yes you can install asemon_report and asemon_logger on same machine but this is not mandatory.
Some customers install asemon_logger on one or several Linux hosts and report on a windows server (or Linux)
Memory requirement for asemon_logger : count 300 Mb per monitored ASE but this can vary according to activity of ASE (number of user connections, number of engines, number of objects...)
Generally I never run asemon_logger on the same host as the monitopred server due to CPU/memory requiered by asemon_logger which may impact production ASE
Best regards
Jpm
